-He was first came to the attention of the Canadian Human Rights Commission for his postings on the Stormfront website.

-Terrance Tremaine a Math Teacher in Canada was pursued by the CHRC in this matter, so he says.

-He says they maintained a campaign of suppression against him.

-He says that he was pursued from place to place.

-He says that they arranged for him to get fired from job after job, even going so far as threatening employees with bad publicity if they did not fire him.

I’ve spent much of the past 20 years living in or reporting on the former communist countries of Eastern Europe. Nowadays, with Budapest, Prague and Warsaw two hours away by budget airline, it’s hard to imagine that before 1989, half a continent was imprisoned behind landmines and barbed wire, its citizens terrorised by secret police, intentionally ground down by the endless, intrusive demands of the one-party state.

State takes extra steps to battle flu in fall

Deputizes dentists, others to help with vaccinations

Massachusetts health authorities took the unprecedented step yesterday of deputizing dentists, paramedics, and pharmacists to help administer vaccines against both the seasonal flu and the novel swine strain expected to make a return visit in the fall.

In another emergency measure, regulators directed hospitals and clinics to provide vaccine to all their workers and some volunteers, a move designed to keep the medical workforce robust and prevent doctors and nurses from making their patients sick.

Since this story was published, it has emerged that the photo in Michael Jackson’s Stasi file showing him at the Berlin Wall is actually a shot of a look-alike, hired by a German TV station and good enough to fool East Germany’s secret police.

Since the death of Michael Jackson on June 25, the pop star’s life and history have become the subject of intense scrutiny. Now we can add a new item to the pile of Jackson resources: his Stasi file.
