“He was called David Rosenhan and he devised a dramatic experiment. He assembled 8 people, including himself, none of whom had ever had any psychiatric problems.
Each person was sent across the country to a specific mental hospital. At an agreed time, they all presented themselves at their hospital and told the psychiatrist on duty they were hearing a voice in their head that said the word “Thud”. That was the only lie they should tell otherwise they were to behave and respond completely normally.”
David Rosenhan – “They were all diagnosed as insane and admitted to the hospital.”
Question – “And were any of them insane?”
David Rosenhan – “No. There was nobody who could have judged these people as insane. … but I told friends, I told my family, I get out when I get out; that’s all. Be there for a couple of days and then I get out. Nobody knew I would be there for 2 months!”
They found there was nothing they could do to convince the doctors they were sane and it quickly became clear that the only way out would be to agree that they were insane and then pretend to be getting better.
Rosenhan agreed and after a month, the hospital proudly announced that they had discovered 41 fakes. Rosenhan then revealed that he had sent no-one to the hospital.
The effect of The Thud Experiment was a disaster for American psychiatry. It destroyed the idea that they were a privileged elite with specialist knowledge.

Hello,
I am a targeted individual from San Francisco, CA. San Francisco’s General Hospital psychiatric department played a large role in my harassment. I had never been hospitalized in my life until the summer of 2008 where I was falsely imprisoned there on three separate occasions.
While there I was forced to endure hours of “street theater” and what I feel was nothing less than radiation experiments. I’ve made contact with every agency I could think of and have still received no assistance nor am I able to find an attorney to take my case. My phone calls are intercepted and rerouted and my email accounts are constantly hacked.
When hearing about gangstalking rarely is there direct mention of systemic participation.

Hi Shannon,
After getting past the lie of the Vigilante Gangs, Gang Stalking World has always maintained that this is systemic. It says so right on the front of the site.
“Gang Stalking is a systemic form of control, which seeks to destroy every aspect of a Targeted Individuals life. A covert investigation is opened and the target is followed around 24/7 by Civilian Spies/Snitches. Overt and covert methods are used as part of the surveillance process. ”
See and several other sites have made it clear that it’s systemic, and this site has also made it clear that the state, government, is responsible. The Gang Stalking World position is that the citizens of these programs have become informants, and it’s systemic, but it’s also now somewhat of an open secret. It was systemic in Russia, East Germany, and Cointelpro and McCarthyism were systemic.
All targets can do is expose this, and when we financially can take legal action. If every target took part in activism, we might be a bit further, then again activism at first means more harassment, but this is the only way we will stand any chance. Still each target has to do what is best for their situation. A parent with children might not be in a situation for activism, but then a parent with children might have no choice.

Hello,
Allow me state what I mean more clearly. There is rarely information about who exactly is initiating the stalking. Is it a weapons program? If so, which companies are doing this locally? Is it neurological research? If so what companies participate in this intrusive form of research?
In my case I know for a fact San Francisco General Hospital, who is an extension of the University of California, participated in my abuse. A doctor the told me out of his own mouth that he was doing research on fear and tolerance. How much a person can withstand? I believe they’re trying to turn me into a Manchurian Candidate. So these people can just put cameras in people homes, kidnap them, and experiment on them at will? To whom ever they choose and have no fear of any backlash what so ever? I can identify every last person in that hospital who participated in my harassment and would love to pick them out of a line up! And I’d love to testify at any congressional hearing.
Yes, you have regular people stalking (not all are citizens) for what ever reasons. But where have they learned this behavior from. In the San Francisco Bay Area there are hundreds of them. All that means to me is there are hundreds of witnesses. In General Hospital they were really professional in how they preformed their skits. They must have done this to hundreds of people. In the past few years San Francisco had a tremendous jump in our suicide rate.
Why is it so hard for us to find a civil rights attorney? Why can’t someone do a documentary about this subject? I called C-SPAN Washington Journal and asked about this subject live on-air. Have any of you? I sent Michael Moore an email asking him to look into this matter, and I wish I knew how to contact John Singleton and Oliver Stone. Next I’ll be contacting Jesse Ventura.
The reason why these people feel they can get away with this behavior is because no one confronting these people at their places of business.
If I was some chimpanzee there would be hundreds of people lined up outside protesting out side General Hospital about the abuse of an animal. But since I’m not, there not.
And who are these defense contractors that operate in almost every city in America? What is it exactly that they do?

Hi – I am also a TI but no one has suggested I am mentally ill, though my mom thinks that I’m “not important enough” to have this problem. The reason I am writing is that many years ago I was married to someone with (apparently) bipolar disorder and found out that it’s not that easy to commit them. In Florida at least there is usually a 48 hour hold and if the person does not appear to be a danger to themselves or others they are released.
I had heard horror stories of the “wanting to blow up buildings” type of mentally disturbed persons being able to get out after 48 hours.
I wonder if psychiatrists now are more willing to commit persons or if the laws in recent years have changed. One also reads about TIs being institutionalized and to my understanding long-term involuntary commitment is quite complicated. Relatives and such would have to be involved if the person didn’t appear dangerous, right? Cases of institutionalization that I am aware of usually entail a relative footing the bill.
That being said, there are a lot of people with mental illnesses not in hospitals and not taking medication. I know professors and many students with diagnoses who may or may not take their meds for example.
I wonder if the quick diagnosis based on what are presumed to be auditory hallucinnations is then related to the complicity of some psychiatrists in the OS/EH system. I myself dont’t have V2K – just the tinnitus but also am careful not to say that the CIA is harassing me with signals from HAARP (since I don’t really know where they are generated, nor do I believe every car accident I see is street theater set up just for me. (During the worst part of my harassment I did experience street theater…I don’t deny its existence, I just try not to be referential.)
There are some TI accounts that I have heard that sound a little out there (my own story is absurd since they are ridiculous) so I wonder if some of them might not be trolls, disinfo agents set up to discredit us, people with disorders who happen to be targeted too, or regular people who lost it after EH or a lot of OS abuse.
To the poster bove, check your state’s laws on involuntary… I thought CA was one of the touger states in which to commit people (post Reagan reforms way back when)…if you do not appear like you would harm yourself or someone else, your commitment may be illegal. Maybe you can consult with a lawyer for free on that one.

People out there to discredit us? Just visit Youtube. A few years ago there were very few videos, I suggested people post videos to the site, now every informant posts videos of things like their eye socket, dogs liking themselves, empty street with no cars, or no cars moving, going look I’am being stalked. Recently I saw some guy do a video that reminded me of the Blair Witch Project. Even though the truth is out there, enough credible sources have not stepped up to the plate to be of any assistance whatsoever.
They are still trying to make it seem like it’s just a bunch of mentally ill people online. We need real laws changed, and real media attention on what is happening. The Jiverly Wong case should have been a complete eye opener, but it’s not been.
I think the reason most target got followed around to begin with is because someone was able to get some family member or someone close to go along with the lies. We can love our families, but can you really trust them when it comes to this? Eg. At times I have had way more luck with strangers than family members.
