It should not be suprising that they follow Stasi methods of no-touch torture against dissidents, since both the MI*s and CSIS are trying to disguise the fact that they are torturing from the general public. What is suprising is they have been able to neuter the politicians who are too scared of their own intelligence services to ensure that the law is enforced.
