Michael Jackson died as a result of the pressure of preparing for his 50-date run of shows at the O2 Arena in London, says Paris Jackson, his 11-year-old daughter.
Paris made her comments to Michael’s sister, LaToya.
She said: “The cardiologist was the best, so how could this happen? What happened is they worked him too hard. He never got the chance to rest. It was nonstop work.”
LaToya, 53, told a TV interviewer: “She said, ‘No, you don’t understand. They kept working him and Daddy didn’t want that, but they worked him constantly.’ I felt so bad.”
LaToya has also revealed she believes Michael Jackson may have been murdered for the song royalties he earned from owning the Beatles’ publishing back catalog.
She says: “I thought that from day one. You must understand something Michael always told me. He said, ‘If anything happens to me, if I die, it’s because someone murdered me. They’re trying to kill me.’ It wasn’t that he was being delusional, they did this over the catalog.
“He owned the Beatles catalog. Most entertainers out there, he owned their music. He would say, ‘They’re going to kill me over that catalog. It’s dangerous.’ Look what happened.
Jackson died from ingesting a cocktail of drugs on June 25, according to the L.A. coroner, who has judged the death to be homicide.

In the days after Jackson’s June 25 death, I was inundated with questions and concerns from many who were close to the superstar throughout his life and career. They killed him, they would say to me. They finally did it.
What did they mean? Who were “they?” And who would stand to gain at the death of a legend?
Jackson had amassed nearly $400 million in personal debt, but still controlled billions in assets, future royalties on music rights, real estate and other holdings. His lucrative Sony/ATV catalog – which contains 250 Beatles songs, music from Elvis Pressley and Little Richard that he bought in 1987 for just $47.5 million – is easily worth 50 times that today. In fact, the catalog is set to make even more money when the interactive video game “The Beatles: Rock Band” hits shelves in October.

Michael Jackson feared someone was trying to kill him shortly before he died. The pop superstar was reportedly terrified of being murdered for his money or the music publishing rights he owned, which included his own work and over 200 songs from the Beatles back catalogue.
Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman said: “He feared somebody wanted to kill him. He was even concerned people would kill him to somehow try to take control of the Beatles back catalogue.”
