Twelve people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base in a murderous rampage that officials believe was carried out by an Army doctor.

Gunman kills at least 7 and wounds 12 at Fort Hood.

The suspected gunman was identified by ABC News as Major Nadal Malik Hasan, who is psychologist or a psychiatrist.

He was promoted to major status in May, according to the Army Times.

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, R-Texas, told Fox News that military sources informed her that the gunman was about to be deployed to Iraq.

The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said.

I am off to the conspiracy forums. The reports of multiple shooters, then just one shooter. I have to make sure there are no V-tech similarities.

Is this just someone who lost it? Is there an agenda? Was there really just one shooter? Does this have any similarities to the V-Tech shooting?

Off to see what I can find.

There is a forum post about this but to summarize.

Since 9/11 he has been getting harassed for being Muslim. He was getting harassed at work and outside of work. He has been trying to get out of the army for years, due in part to this harassment. (That’s from his aunt.) She says he even hired a lawyer to see if he could get out, and pay them back for his schooling, but they would not do that.

I mean people to to Iraq, Afghanistan, and then come back and some do see him as the enemy, it’s not right, it’s not fair, but it’s life. So he wanted out and they would not let him out. Then he had a poor performance review as well on top of that.

About six months ago he posted some stuff online that caught the eye of the FBI, they claim no official investigation was open, but in the case of the museum shooter Jame Van Braun they claimed the same thing, but it was later learnt that he was under some type of investigation, just not official.

Anyways, it’s not clear what else was going on, but he might have been changing due to the harassment. He sounds like he was a passionate person who spoke out against things he did not believe in, especially the wars that were happening, he was against them, just like many Americans are.

He also was hoping that Obama’s administration would end the war and bring the troops home. Anyways at his apartment complex in August some military guy who recently returned from war resented him for being Muslim and Keyed Allah into his car, and destroyed a bumper sticker that said ALLAH is love. He had to get a new car and reported it as a hate crime.

The guy was arrested late in October the 23 or 26th and it’s not clear what else might have been happening between then and the shooting, but I am guessing the harassment did not stop.

Also interestingly he had a thing about always being home when his apartment was going to be entered, and they did it once when he was not there and he got upset about it. Reminds me of how targets start to get about home entries.

Anyways the shooting happened a couple of days ago, and some of the people shot, might have been shot due to friendly fire, due to the confusion of everything that was happening, so it’s not clear if he really did shoot all those people of if he was specifically targeting others.

He did go to Virgina Tech and was in the ROTC program, so I still have to look into the conspiracy angle, and it’s not clear if he was on any medication which can not be ruled out.

It should be noted that he looked and acted perfectly normal on the morning of the shooting, as per the video where we see him in Muslim garb. Why would the army not let this specific investment go?

If these is a conspiracy angle to this it probably goes all the way back to the ROTC training and that will be hard to dig up.

Skip the story which is not good. They interview this one guy that he did not get along with at all.

Anyways. He was in the military, but did he have guns registered to him? Eg. He was a doctors, so which guns if any were legally registered to him?

How do they know that he did the shooting? I was assuming video up until this stage, but without video and the account of scared, scrabbling eye witnesses who saw three or two shooters, then how do they know it was him? They positively identified him as dead, then he was magically alive. To me this means that they identified someone else who really was dead as him, thus as the shooter. If they were wrong then, could they be wrong now?

Between the time that he appeared on video at the store in Muslin garb, when did he change into his military gear, go and get his guns? Even with all the harassment, and an upcoming deployment to Iraq, why would he just snap now?

Again with so much confusion how do they know it was him. They have his hand guns? Does he have bullet residue from firing or defending himself? There was not enough clear evidence, with all the confusion that was happening. Who positively identified him as the shooter? Yes he was shot by a female police officer, but it appears a lot of people might have been shot by friendly fire, so where did the positive ID come from, considering that he was positively dead, not that long ago?
