Google has announced a massive overhaul of their new social network just days after launch, after they received a deluge of complaints.
The new media tool ‘Buzz’ allows users to share messages, web links, photos and videos with friends and colleagues directly within Gmail.
However when it launched it automatically linked users with other people they were judged to contact the most.

In their eagerness to kick-start the project, Google failed to recognise many users would resent being ‘followed’ by others without their agreement.
After receiving a mountain of criticism via help forums Google have changed the system to an auto-suggest model.
In an attempt to stave off a PR disaster they wrote on the official blog: ‘We’ve heard your feedback loud and clear, and since we launched Google Buzz four days ago, we’ve been working around the clock to address the concerns you’ve raised.
